Schmölders Foundation Award 2026

Emanuel Hansen, Felix J. Bierbrauer and Pierre C. Boyer received the Schmölders Foundation Award for their paper „Pareto-improving Tax Reforms and the Earned Income Tax Credit“.

This year, the €3,000 Schmölders Foundation Award was presented by the Public Finance Committee chaired by Silke Übelmesser. The award recognizes outstanding papers in behavioral economics with a connection to public finance.
